As an ongoing commitment
to produce high quality products, Ion Science has made an improvement to its
lamp manufacturing process. This change ensures that the metallic band within
the lamp named the ‘getter’ remains stationary throughout its life.
Previously it had been
noted from customers that the getter could move up and down the length of the
lamp. Although testing showed no deleterious effect we listened to the concerns
raised and acted accordingly.
The new lamp can be
recognized by two transparent beads of glass within the interior of the lamp
(see accompanying photo).
